Coming Up This Week

December fills up quick, what with the last week of the month dedicated to long-distance travel and lots of celebration.

Of course, all the normal stuff still goes on. The DC Bloggers Meetup, for example. That'll be going on this Wednesday (9 December) at a new to us venue: Mezza Luna Restaurant, 1140 19th Street NW, Washington DC (map).

As always, it'll be chock full of interesting people who like to send words out into the ether--educating, entertaining, and enlightening those who read them. Or at least getting all those thoughts out of their heads so they don't just explode.

I've been showing up at this group for a handful of months now and there hasn't been a meetup that goes by where I haven't learned something new or been introduced to a neat new blog (and the blogger who created it).

If you've got a blog or some vague desire to start one up, come out and socialize with us.

And for those of you who've been seeing me talk about all sorts of interesting projects for the new year--one of them is directly connected to this group.
