Over this past weekend, the new trailer for Browncoats: Redemption, the movie I helped out with a bit over the summer, made its debut at the Farpoint convetion up the road a bit in Baltimore.

This one is all stuff from the movie--I know because I remember a lot of these shots being filmed. Check out the trailer (if you look quick, you can even see me in there, briefly):

The more of the finished bits I see of this film, the more I know my initial call of "Fantastic!" was fully justified.

The other day, I had the chance to participate in the first group read-through of the script for Browncoats: Redemption, a fan film being produced right here in Maryland.

It is, as one "in the know" may surmise, a Firefly/Serenity flavored fan creation. Set three months after the events of the Serenity film, it follows the adventures of a different group of Independents, trying to eke out a living running cargo on the Rim.Read more
