After a fantastic night out with some friends, I hopped the Metro back to Rockville, got in the rental car and heard a very odd song on the radio. It took me a minute to figure out exactly what it was. A couple of lyrics went by and it was unmisakably "Sunday, Bloody Sunday," the well-known U2 song.
Except it was most certainly not the usual version.
It sounded very strange... and yet kind of familiar.
Then it occurred to me. It was being done using sound clips of President Bush.
Today, I see that another friend of mine posted a link to a video of the song (over on another social networking site).
So now I share with you the kind of surreal Bush singing "Sunday, Bloody Sunday".
What a strange, strange world we live in...
